It’s hard to imagine our life is so hectic, that we could be numb to the little things that are so important. Take not knowing your hotel room number for instance. Forgetting your number is a really minor object to not remember easily right? Well, it depends on how old you are, if you are 50 or older then not so much. You remember when hotel keys had the number right on the outside, with that very odd shaped plastic key fob. You didn’t have to think though, you just went up to your room and that’s it. This came in especially helpful when travelling to Vegas…”what happens”,,,yada yada

The hotel room keys of the already here future should have homing devices built into them. They don’t however, have homing devices, they are merely a credit card with strips on the back to let you in. How does that help? If any hotel executives happen upon this article please go back to putting the hotel room number on your credit cards…a …I mean hotel keys.

Enough about keys here is a little tidbit that annoys me about staying at hotels, misplaced change and other small items. I have a tip for you people that wonder where something you know you brought is hiding, but you can’t find it. Before you embark on your destination, make a list of all and I do mean all of the items you packed. If you want you can show to your hotel supervisor along with everything else. When you arrive to your room have a exact place for every item that you are going to carry and if you carried something one day and choose not to carry another, remember that and put IT in a specific area where you know it should be when you come back, doing this will eliminate any paranoia you may be feeling about your hotel stay. However, if you have the extra money, getting a hotel safe is your best bet.
