Waverunners and Safety Bonita Springs Rentals

Waverunners can be dangerous. Below we have a list and explanation of the items that should be taken with you if you going out on a Waverunner.

Fire extinguisher – You can get a very small fire extinguisher for around $19.99. This is a must when operating a waverunner. Two things to take into consideration: Make sure there is a pressure loss guarantee and make sure the extinguishing agent is Non-toxic.

Whistle – You want to get a whistle that has some volume and range to it. A whistle from a Cracker Jack box will not cut it. If you have the money we suggest you buy Acme Thunderer Small Plastic Whistle with a retail price of $34.95. If you want to go a less expensive we suggest the Fox 40 Whistle Classic Black (EA) which retails at $5.95. Both of these are very loud and get the job done.

Life jackets or PFD’s – These are absolutely necessary and against the law not to have one aboard your vehicle. We suggest a Body Glove PFD they are in the mid price range as jackets go at a retail price of $29.99.

Lanyards / kill cords - Kill Cords, ensure that if the operator should fall overboard that the waverunner’s engine will stop, this allows the rider to swim back to jet ski and restricts the vehicle from running into other boats and what not.

We recommend the Longacre Kill Cord. It retails at $84.95
