One of Southwest Florida’s most family-friendly destinations, Cape Coral is home to Sun Splash Family Waterpark, Mike Greenwell’s Family Fun Park, Strausser BMX Sports Complex, and Eagle Skate Park. Cape Coral Yacht Club Community Park hosts weekly sunset celebrations and other family events on its manmade beach.
Other calendar events center around the southern downtown area and include art fairs, holiday celebrations, and food festivals. Most of the city’s shopping and dining also congregates in this neighborhood.
On the northeast side of town, the Cape Coral Historical Museum & Rose Gardens and Cultural Park Theatre add an educational dimension to a Cape Coral vacation.
