Alison Hagerup Beach Park is the major beach access point, but still only lightly developed. It gets its most crowded around sunset.
At island center, a small cluster of buildings is worth a visit. Chapel-by-the-Sea is a picturesque spot that guards a tiny cemetery of early settlers. Next to it, you can visit the library and civic center.
