Known for its well-heeled resorts, including two Ritz-Carlton hotels, the lodging landscape in Naples is heavy on the luxury and pampering.
At the east end of town, however, you can find inexpensive motels and camping.
Naples Hotels
Among the most trademark Naples accommodations, luxury beachfront resorts range from the historic Naples Beach Resort and its golf course to the Edgewater Beach Hotel, with one- and two-bedroom suites.
Other waterfront resorts face Naples Bay and appeal to boaters who can dock and stay.
The luxury Naples resorts at the north end of town – the Ritz-Carlton Naples and the Naples Grande -- have preserved the mangroves that intercede between them and the beach. Boardwalk trails take you down to the sands.
Other popular Naples beach hotels line Vanderbilt Beach, a small waterfront community north of the Ritz-Carlton.
The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort, as its name implies, sits amids the greens but shares amenities via shuttle with its sister resort.
