Everglades City Government
The Everglades Area is in Collier County and most of the city’s government runs through that County. As well as Everglades City, they handle Carnestown, Chokoloskee, Copeland, Everglades City, Lee Cypress, Monroe Station, Ochopee, Plantation Island, Port of the Islands and Seaboard Village. The City also has an Chamber of Commerce located at the intersection of Routes 29 and 41. The sole purpose of the Chamber is to promote the charming sites of the Everglades Area.
