Naples
One could call Naples the Beverly Hills of Southeast Florida. Naples has many well-to-do families and holds many of the super-wealthy people in the entire United States.
Naples is fantastic for shopping and above the standard for effluent communities. Many top merchandisers such as Tiffany, Nordstrom, Saks, Gucci, Cartier and Ferragamo are very close to downtown for the best shopping experience. However, if your not much of a shopper there are a myriad of eclectic activities to do. With almost a 100 art galleries and countless fine restaurants, Naples rises above the mainstream vacation experience.
For a music experience, Naples Museum of Art and Philharmonic Center for the Arts has some of the most talented and expressive work in the country.
If you like sports, and especially golf, Naples offers variety and quantity. With over 90 golf courses with top class facilities, it rivals such golf meccas as Phoenix, Arizona. As well as golf, the back bays offer fishing for tarpon, snook, redfish and grouper in the Gulf of Mexico.
Naples is much more than it’s glitzy glamorous outer shell. The beach expands to more than 7 miles of gorgeous white sand. The talcum-soft beaches are walking distance from the shopping areas of Third Street and Fifth Avenue. Yet downtown Naples is less than 20 miles from the deep rich tropical wilderness nested in the Florida Everglades.
Nature lovers will enjoy the Conservancy of Southwest Florida, which focuses on the local wildlife and wildlife rehabilitation. Families, couples and singles alike will find activities.
