How to obtain a fishing license in Southwest Florida.

Find out which type of license is needed. All of the below licenses are available.

• Resident 12-month Freshwater OR Saltwater Fishing License: $13.50
• Nonresident 7-Day Freshwater OR Saltwater Fishing License: $16.50
• Nonresident 12-Month Freshwater OR Saltwater Fishing License: $31.50
• Resident 12-month Freshwater and Saltwater Fishing License: $25.50

Call and find out if you even need a license. here is an example of when a license is not needed

• Under 16 years of age.
• Florida residents aged 65 or older Florida residents who are in the military, stationed outside Florida, and home on leave for 30 days or less.
• Fishing on a man-made pond located on private property.
• Fishing with cane poles in their county of residence.
• Florida residents fishing in saltwater from land or a structure attached to land.
• Florida residents fishing in saltwater from a boat with a vessel fishing license.
• If your not sure that you will like fishing. Fish first month of April is you can. It is free.

• Annual Saltwater Fishing: $17.00  5 year: $79.00
• Saltwater/Freshwater Fishing Combo: $32.50
• Saltwater/Freshwater Fishing/Hunting Combo: $48.00
• Effective July 15, 2009 - Saltwater Shoreline License*: $9.00
